ROUGE LIPSTICK
This photographic sculpture of a red rouge lipstick is part of Consumer Loves, a series that explores the deep-rooted longing driving our endless pursuit of desire and fulfillment. The lipstick—vibrant, seductive, and iconic—embodies the promises of beauty, confidence, and transformation that consumer culture offers. Yet beneath its glossy surface lies a complex tension: the relentless search for happiness through external symbols that often leave us feeling incomplete. This work reflects on how objects of desire can both empower and elude us, revealing the persistent ache at the heart of consumption.

If the sculpture is completed then we can post the sculpture within a few business days. If the sculpture has not been completed, please allow a 2-3 week window to complete the sculpture. Each listing will state at the top whether or not the sculpture is ready to be posted.

You can return this item within 30 days for any reason. Strictly 30 days. Any damage incurred during transportation, please send verification images and we will arrange a replacement free of charge.
Rory Fink is a photographic artist based in Melbourne, Australia and has been working in the creative industry since completing a bachelor of arts in fine arts photography in 2002. Rory has exhibited in a number of galleries and has been a finalist in numerous competitions over a decades long career.
