SUNGLASSES REFLECTING SUNSET
This photographic sculpture shows a pair of sunglasses catching the last light of a sunset. Trimmed to the glasses’ exact outline and set in a machine-carved timber frame, the work singles out one small, shiny promise of happiness.
Consumer Loves is my ongoing look at the hopes that push us to buy, chase, and collect. We reach for objects, moments, and people that seem to hold joy—yet the feeling often slips away, leaving us wanting the next fix. In this piece, the sunset’s glow is beautiful but fleeting, a reminder that what we long for can be as temporary as the light on a lens.

If the sculpture is completed then we can post the sculpture within a few business days. If the sculpture has not been completed, please allow a 2-3 week window to complete the sculpture. Each listing will state at the top whether or not the sculpture is ready to be posted.

You can return this item within 30 days for any reason. Strictly 30 days. Any damage incurred during transportation, please send verification images and we will arrange a replacement free of charge.
Rory Fink is a photographic artist based in Melbourne, Australia and has been working in the creative industry since completing a bachelor of arts in fine arts photography in 2002. Rory has exhibited in a number of galleries and has been a finalist in numerous competitions over a decades long career.
