Yet, beneath its dazzling surface lies a tension: the illusion of control and permanence in a world defined by fleeting moments and shifting desires. This work reflects on how the pursuit of material symbols can both promise happiness and deepen our sense of longing.

Rory Fink is a photographic artist based in Melbourne, Australia and has been working in the creative industry since completing a bachelor of arts in fine arts photography in 2002. Rory has exhibited in a number of galleries and has been a finalist in numerous competitions over a decades long career.
